Where Clinical Knowledge Meets Ministry Experience.
We equip individuals and churches to navigate the intersection of faith and mental health through Gospel-centered education, practical resources, and sustainable mental health ministry solutions.
The Church Is Where People Turn for Hope.
Yet many churches lack the tools, training, and structure to care for today's mental health needs.
Pastor Burnout and Compassion Fatigue
Spiritual Harm through Oversimplification
Crisis Mismanagement
Legal and Liability Risks
Ethical Missteps
You Need A Ministry People Can Trust.
A sermon series, a six-week Bible study, or a dedicated care team alone doesn't build a mental health ministry.
Lasting, Gospel-centered mental health care requires more than good intentions. It requires a clear strategy, trained leaders, sustainable systems, and a framework that helps people grow spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.
That's where The Job Project comes in.
The Mental Health Ministry Blueprint Program: is a strategic and structured program that equips church leaders to create safe, sustainable mental health ministries while safeguarding pastors, leadership teams and their congregants.
Inside this program, we help leaders:
Assess your church's mental health ministry readiness.
Train leaders to care with confidence and biblical wisdom.
Develop sustainable systems, policies, and referral networks.
Launch a thriving, Christ-centered mental health ministry.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit since 2024, we're committed to serving the Church with biblical conviction, professional excellence, and compassionate care.
“I have been in ministry leadership for over 18 years, across 7 churches, and though I have served under some amazing and supportive leadership, I don’t think I have felt as seen and supported mentally, emotionally and spiritually as I have in the few weeks of working with The Job Project. The way Chris & Val seamlessly bridge the gap between mental health and the Gospel has greatly affected not only the way I perceive the Word of God, but it has also infiltrated the way I lead.”
Welcome to The Job Project!
We are Chris and Valerie Lilley, the creators and founders of The Job Project. We started this ministry as a podcast in 2019. Today we’ve expanded into teaching workshops, providing therapy and spiritual counseling resources, worship experiences, collaborating with churches, and continuing the conversation on our podcast! We exist to equip everyday people with faith based mental health education.
